So is that a decent price? It's in good shape, but a one ton must be hard to find parts for.
Looks to be all there. Price is probably high imho, but the hand crank wrecker makes it unlike any other you'd find. And no doubt negotiable. Parts availability similar to 48-52s I think. Stu
The one tons I've had use the front fenders from the 1 1/2 tons, Wheels aren't wms which is good. Never had trouble finding brakes etc. Usually king pins are same as 1/2 tons. Pretty much a mix of parts from the other sizes. It's a real good size truck. Love to see it end up with an FTEer!
The '47 and earlier tonners had a unique 5 lug x 6 7/8" bolt pattern. Used 7.50 x 17" tires. Always single rear wheel. Not widow makers. The outer rims were the Firestone "RH" design that has a solid/continuous side ring. Still can be serviced. Stu
