Looking to cheat a little guys sorry LOL! I'm trying to put 08 power heated mirrors on my 2000 excursion that has power heated mirrors the only difference is I will add feed for the light on the mirrors which is not going to be a big deal. The question I have is does anyone have a breakdown of what color is what on each side 2000 excursion side and the 08 mirror side? I've looked through all the threads about this but can't ever find a list of just the wire colors referencing what they do looks like I will be making a custom harness because I don't have adapters that will work. In the middle of this project currently appreciate the help thanks!
Got everything done except tapping into the parking light and blinkers. All the wires are run but couldn't easily find what I was looking for under the dash to tap into. Wiring in the doors was very easy and the mirrors work great just have to finish the light detail later. Any guidance on where to get that under the dash would be appreciated, In the one thread he says on the back of the relay block it's the 4th plug over but mine only has 3 plugs and I never could find what I needed. As a last resort I could just run wires to the lights on front to get it but know that's not necessary.

I just tapped into the headlight switch for parking lights & then into the steering column for turn signal wires. I actually cheated on the turn signal wires by using scotch locks on the wires since it is inside the cab & that was a over a year ago with no problems I can't remember the wire colors but it was not to hard to figure out. I pulled the steering column covers off. I think I googled wiring diagram for colors.

That's actually a great idea since I have a new shifter and boot to put on anyway. That will give me the motivation to go ahead and do the shifter job too then since I am dreading it, I've had those apart before and the steering column is a real pain to work on lol!
Make sure you get the front turn signal wires. If you use the rear signal wires, I will no longer be the unique idiot with mirrors that light up with the brakes.
