Climate control changes temp setting on its own
I have a 2013 F150 FX4 with the touch screen dual zone climate control. It intermittently changes the temerature setting without any input. It happened so rarely at first it took me a while to be sure the passenger or myself wasn't doing anything to change the setting. But this last Saturday we were cruising down the highway into town and it happened twice.
It was set at 72 deg on the drivers side and 74 on the passenger side. I suddenly feel hot air and notice that the driver setting had changed to about 87. I reset it to 72 and then a few miles later I felt cold air and noticed it was at about 65.
I have an appointment to have it looked at at the dealer but since it is intermittent I doubt it will happen while the truck is there.
