Finally found a use for the up fitter harness and switches I've had lying around the past year or so. First, I found a spot on the PS resivoir that places the relay's right above the existing relay's under the hood on the L side near the firewall. One hole drilled into the mounting bracket for the relay holder and it bolts right in. Second, instead of trying to figure a way to make it plug into the fuse box I cut the connector and ran a hot wire to the six wires as I want to use the switches without a key anyway. Right now I have them direct wired to the battery and have LED driving lights on the #1 switch. Third, I found the diamond shaped plug to run the switch plug through the firewall and into the area below the driver side dash. Once through, I replaced the plug and routed the wire through the precut area in the isulation on the interior. No cutting and still maintains a good seal. I haven't decided where to place the switches yet due to I will need to do some cutting so I now have them on the dash behind the tilt handle of the steering wheel. The thing I like about this setup is that the blunt cut wires are under the hood and I do not need to run anything else through the firewall. I also still have the use of my 4 pass throughs that Ford has in place so that gives me access to 8 wires already through my firewall and no modifications to the firewall.
