After the truck being at the dealership for about a month I finally got some headway. Apparently my no start is due to code P1283 which I was told is an electrical code for the IPR. Does anyone have any experience with this issue. He made it sound like I'm going to have to look at all the wiring going to and from the IPR. Is there any chance it's the solenoid?
1283 = Output circuit detected during Standard test, indicates high or low resistance in circuit.
Check the electrical plug that goes to the IPR. Most likely it's in that area. Diesel fuel and oil tends to leak on that plug melting the wire insulation causing a short or open connection.

When you are inspecting wires for a shorts what do I look for??
