More powerstroke problems
I cleaned my fuel bowl, changed the orings, replaced the screen, flushed the lines, and iam still having a slight issue. Some times in the morning my truck well run almost perfect. But i could tell something is still wrong. It sounds like it lopes a little. Then at a light ill stop, lopeing sound, the it well idle but the truck can barrley move. This happens at least twice a day now. Iam starting to get the idea that its my hpop. But not 100%. any help well be appreciated. Thanks

You should have some codes set with that. Get that checked first.
Run it till is starts acting up, then kill it. Pull the HPOP bullplug and check the level. IT should be a inch or so from the top. Use a cheap air psi tire guage and check your fuel line pressure at idle using the schrader valve that is just below the FPR and see what that is reading. then repost
A WAG right now woud be the IPR o-rings- but collect more info

Thats good at 55 swinging is expected but 55 is good. Evidently the FPR is not shimmed. I guess your saying ti was not running-so recheck it running at idle

The level check is to ensure that the LPOP is working right and that the oil is not leaking out of the HPOP.
I suspect IPR rings, but check your ICP connection for oil residue at the connection too.
I guess you have good oil and oil level Right
Well when i took the filter canister off i saw oil in the valley. The hpop looked oily but didnt care to see. I think it might have a bad ring or something.

Do you have good oil level in the main basin oil pan? Is the oil new? Was the filter recently changed? If so there is a bypass check valve at the filter area that can either be open or on some older units fall clean out. And in doing so, recycling oil back to the pan and not sending a stead flow to the HPOP area. Also the pickup tube on the low pressure oil pump can get a crack in them and can aeriate the oil causing foaming and less oil picked up. So in short make sure that the main oil pan is full of oil and that the oil is fresh. Old oil os more likely to foam at higher temps than old.

truck would not start checked batterys one bad replaced it still dragged had starter tested was bad replaced ran fine in morning would not start could not here fuel pumps checked senoid for pumps jumped and made work so replaced with new one and still no start im lost for sure now .
Does this ^^^^ have anything to do with this two-year-dead thread? Anything to keep you from starting your own thread? Does the period key on your keyboard work?
Are you saying you could not HEAR the fuel pumps? You'll never hear them. First, there's only one, and since it's mechanical, it only runs with the engine, the noise of which drowns out whatever sound the fuel pump might make.
By "senoid", are you referring to the starter solenoid? The one on the starter? Or one of the relays, possibly?

Actually, the gasser trucks have in-tank fuel pumps, and the diesels don't. Your truck does not have an in-tank fuel pump. The fuel pump is on the engine, not on the frame rail.
