Detroit area exhaust shops
Detroit area exhaust shops
Anyone down in the Garbage City/Wasteland/Livonia area, or close to, know of any "GOOD" exhaust shops that work on Saturdays? I need some work on this noise maker Roush system I've got, and no one up here is interested in Saturdays, or God forbid, anything later than 4 or 5 in the afternoon. No wonder there's so much welfare up here. If it wasn't for the peace and quiet and lack of population, I'd move closer to you guys, LOL.

Hi Chad, and thanks for the offer. What I'm wanting to do is get rid of the Roush muffler, and replace it with either a Magnaflow/ Flowmaster, or try to get one of the Allied resonators that Beechkid talks about. I'd like to retain the rest of the Roush system. I need to at least get rid of some of the drone.
The magnaflow I put on my wife's 4.7 powered grand Cherokee has some resonance right about 2100rpm, which is of course where it sits on the highway, but has gotten better with age ( about 15k). is the Roush muffler welded on or clamped?
It's all clamped together. If we do this, I'll order another Magnaflow. Right now, the resonance occurs at 1800 rpm on up, of course that's right around 70+ mph. Below that speed, I can handle it. Outside, it sounds pretty good.

This is the exhaust system I have:F-150 Exhaust for 6.2L /5.0L/3.5L (2011-2013)
