Ready to install Fass 150, use sump or straw? +other Q's
1. Will I need any type of pre-filter if I use a sump? (not sure if the Fass pulls through it's filter or pushes through it's filter and don't want to damage the pump).
2. Even if I don't need it, is a screen filter of some kind advisable?)
3. Eliminate the stock pump? (I think I read someone used an Airdog or Fass in conjunction with the stock pump.) any benefit to this route like better supply? Any cons?
4. Can I just cut the existing supply line and plug it so I don't have to drop the tank when going the sump route?
Thanks!

2. If you want one then go for it. I considered it but I figured it would be fine
3. As far as I know it deletes the stock pump. Really no point in keeping it.
4. I cut the factory line so I could put it back to stock and ran a new larger line.
Here is what mine looked like.
looks like you pulled the tank. I hate the idea of pulling mine but like most mods, it always seems more difficult than it actually ends up being in the end.
Did you see any MPG gain?
Any MPG gain was not noticeable. I just like the idea of being able to drain my tank with the removal of one plug. And I don't like the factory pick up. They are troublesome..
Keep in mind that a sump is not DOT approved. I could care less.. but just so you know.
