Last night we had some serious rain and I went through a pretty deep water puddle at speed. I didn't see it until I was right on top of it. This morning I see a vent line of some sort hanging under the truck. The end is attached to the real axle on the left side and on the other end is a plastic connecter. I have searched high and low and can not see where this connects to.
Okay i went and looked. Mine goes up to top of frame area but it it about on top of def tank.which i cant feel or see bacause my B&W hitch wont let me see.it goes up thru a ton of crap up there. Maybe someone without a hitch can see it.
Thanks Paul!
Judging by the rub mark on my diff looks like mine has been hanging for a while.
I doubt it connect to anything, it's just a vent (I think), prob just clips to the frame as high as possible. Looks like the fitting is just so water doesn't get in.
