What is this?
The hose I’ve circled is attached to the axle but isn’t attached at the other end
pic is of the rear axle, drivers side

Rear axle vent; should be secured so the top is up high so as not to get water in the rear axle.

Great thanks. It's just hanging loose now. The loose end has a clamp on it, which is why I thought it should be connected to something...

the open end originally was clipped to the frame.
