Rebuilt 4r100

My truck is a F-350 7.3 with the superchips programer set on high performance. I just had the transmission rebuilt be a local guy that had many good reconmendations from friends and family. He said that he went back to factory specs with a prission of new hampshire billet backed HD low stall convertor. Question is the truck feels different now. It seamed to have more power with stock transmmision. It would throw you back in your seat when you stood on it. Now it does not feel that way. I am wondering if the low stall troque converter makes it feel this way or maybe I got the wrong one installed ( maybe for gas motor)? I wish I knew more about these things.
Thanks,
Billy

Just winging it, but if the low-stall converter transmits power at a lower RPM, your engine will take longer to reach boost and feel powerful. I would try to get more info on the engagement RPM differences between this converter and an OEM one.
