12v cummins swap info in f250 4x4
I took yet another turn in my 71 f250 4x4 crew cab project was going with a 460 and zf5 in my truck but more I thought on it I've changed my mind and want to do a 12v cummins swap instead I should be picking up the cummins this weekend and want to get my parts list together and some info on what is all needed to be modified for it to fit anyone here do this swap or know of a good detailed writeup? I see a lot of people making there own engine mounts when they do it has anyone used the swap kit from here Fordcummins.com - 12V Engine Mounting Kit also the crossmember I've seen people fab up their own is this really needed? Can it go untouched or do you have to do some kind of notch for it to fit?
