Rear rotor removal

Rear rotor removal
I had some time this weekend so I thought I would install the A.R.T. rotors on the back of my 2000 F350. The truck is 2 wheel drive, single rear wheels. The manual states that the rotor will pull right off once the wheel is removed and the caliper is un bolted. I did all that and the rotor wouldn't come off. I made sure the parking brake was off and I tried some release agent (Kroil) and still could not get the rotor off.
Anyone have any ideas on this? I would really appreciate some help.

As suggested by others on this site I used a large bolt in the caliper mounting bracket to put some tension on the rotor from behind. After a few good smacks with the hammer the bolt was loose. Only had to repeat this a few times, didn't even rotate the rotor and it was off in less than 2 minutes. Of course the hub was soaked with a good penetration oil (NOT WD-40) beforehand.
You will be able to tell if the parking brake shoes are dragging, the rotor will not rotate at all, but if they are not there will be a bit of rotational play (gear backlash).
