2000 Ford Excursion Right Rear Side Glass is unattached
The passenger side rear glass has come unglued from the actuator arm that pushes it out and pulls it in. Has anyone figured out how to fix this? A local auto glass company wants an insane amount of money to fix. They say the only way to fix it is to replace the complete window.

Any suggestions?
i had the same issue and ended up going to 2 different places. the last place, said it is fixed for good. i dont know what they used but i will try to find out for u.
The back window should just be metal to glass so the rear view mirror glue should work well. I would have a glass shop do it tho as the do it yourself kits I have rarely seen work out.
At most we only ever charged out $5 for glueing rear view on, but they may want to charge a tad more as it would be a bit harder to get at.
You could always just buy a DIY kit and try yourself, just prep and clean glass maybe with alcohol before using. Don't forget to mark where it goeswith a felt on outside of glass before cleaning the inside so you know where it goes.
