I have an 04 scab fx4 with 18's and I wanted to put 33's on it but with standard width (don't want the tires to stick out) is there anywhere to find a chart or what sizes equal a 33" tire? i have 275/65/18... thanks
If you have a spreadsheet like Excel or want to take a bit of time with a calculator, you can calculate the width and diameter as follows:
Width=275mm/25.4 (mm/inch)=10.83"
Diameter= (10.83" x .65 x 2) +18" = 32.07"
So if you can find a 275/70x18, using the same formula but subbing .70 for .65, you get 33.16" diameter which is just about what you want.
In manufacturer's specs, tires will vary a bit from these exact formulas, and width will vary just a bit based on rim width, but these formulas will let you convert any tire size to mathematical width and diameter measurements.

A 285/65/18 will also fit, be slightly wider than stock, and is a pretty popular tire size which usually = lower prices and easier to find.
Most tire sites will give you a size chart too with inches included. I don't mean places like tire rack I mean go to the manufacturers site such as Nitto.com or falken.com.
Chandler is right though 285/65/18's are a nice size and just under 33". I have them on my truck and they don't stick out much pass the truck if at all.
