Ok guys, I'm looking at the BBK 75mm throttle body and one of the many throttle body spacers out there.
Who has them and who can point me in the right direction?
Its a 00 5.4L 4x4.
The throttle body spacer is nothing but an expensive paperweight in a fuel injected motor! Will not do anything but wast your money.
The 75mm throttle body will not help ether. Unless you have forced induction on your motor.
The stock throttle body will flow more air then the power of your stock 5.4 will make like it is...lol
If you had a supercharger, the 75mm would help a little.
Yep, I had a spacer, with a cold air intake, All the thing did was whistle! So if you want your 5.4 to sing a new tune, throw one in! Other than they they are useless. Same with the bigger throttle body, really no need unless you've got something that could utilize it.
