Finally!
About 5ish years ago or so, when I lived in the lower mainland, i had purchased a Miller plasma cutter. I bought it for cheap and never did use it, or even hook it up. Well this past weekend I finally got around to hooking it up,and it works fantastically.
Ive used plasma's before and its nice to have one hooked up again!
It goes along very nicely with the new miller 211 welder that the ol lady bought for me last week.

I actually did purchase it just for getting into body work, but I can see its gonna be handy for alot of things!
I think the supposed maximum for my machine is 3/8, and I was doing 1.4 inch like nothing yesterday! Sure have to get used to keeping the hands really steady though haha!
What kind is yours Morris? What kind of capacities?
The welder was long overdue as well, it works like a charm, and I got a spoolgun and a bottle of argon with it so i can fab some stuff out of aluminum!

What do ya mean cuts and shears...? I dont have a use for aluminum weldeing either, but since I get free stuff from work, I figure I might as well start making stuff from aluminum!
I gotta admit I dont know what a hot wrench is.. or is thats whats referred to as a torch? haha.
Cut off saw is coming up on my list for sure as well!

I really want to get myself a really good MIG welder so I can do my own fabbing as well. I've wanted one for so long, but just never find the time to buy one... I'm sure I'd be using it like it was going out of style if I had one though.
Plasma cutter? Never really had a use for one yet, just cause I'm old fashioned I guess haha. If I did own one, I'm sure it'd save me at least 2 hours on each project haha, they sound pretty good.
Guess I gotta save up my pennies and get myself a mig and plasma. I keep seeing them on kijiji or usedregina, but... school comes first . I hate saving my money... lol
