My 01 V10 F250 has OBDI emissions, running on OBDII hardware. My OBDII laptop-based hardware/software (Alex Peper's) can connect to it fine and read a limited number of parameters, but it appears that the resident OBDI software either doesn't support a number of PIDs which I've grown accustomed to using (especially cylinder misfire counters) or my rig won't read them.
