I discovered (by accident) that my inside Dually tire was flat.
It had been serviced that day, and that night I went out to reset the TP to what I normally run, only to discover one was flat (not blaming service)...
i don't think I would have caught this, until I shredded a tire.
So, I'm looking for a 10 station aftermarket TPMS
that will support the truck, and my 5th wheel trailer (when trailer is in tow).
Does anyone know of a vendor that will satisify this?
Why do DRWs have a tendency to flat the inner tires so much anyway? I hear this a lot and very rarely hear of a SRW flat.
hm.. I haven't seen any general reports of flats on any of the trucks.. my DRW has only had a problem with the outer.. (bad valve 6 months after having the balance beads added)..
but, I would suspect that the inner tire doesn't get checked for air as often.

My truck was delivered with a right rear flat inner tire. Did not find it for 2 days – 200 miles. That flat was the first flat tire I have since I started driving in 74 (does not include slow leaks – screws etc found in the tire)
After fixing the flat I put my tire monitors on that I usually don’t use till camping season.

You can put up to 22 sensors on the system. I have 2 additional sensors ordered for the dually.
I did not put them on the spare. I check mine often enough and my camper has a 150 psi compressor in the basement (and a genny).
The TST system saved me from having a blowout on my RV last summer, giving my enough warning that a tire was losing air that I was able to find a safe place to pull over and change it.
Here is a link of mine YouTube - TPMS alert
The alert came on about 75 psi, don’t really remember. This was after pulling over and getting ready to change it.
The sensors are a bit of a pain to put on the DRW’s, I have to remove the wheels to do it. I have a couple of different extensions ordered to make it a little easier – I hope.
