I'm still waiting for news a on the 2012's before I take the leap, but does anybody know if they would let you visit the plant while they were building your truck?
Go to the office and ask if you could have a tour. Explain you ordered a truck that is being built there, and would like a quick runthrough! They might tell you hit your feet, or they might have a free moment and take you on a quick lap, or set you up at another time when they are bringing a different tour through! The plant I work in has ppl touring it all the time!
If you know somebody you can more then likely get in. That's how I got to see my truck in the build process, there are a couple pictures in my album if you wanna look.
zcellis3 I think its cool you got to see you truck go down the line! I think its something Ford should bring back as im sure there are a few of us that would have enjoyed seeing our truck being built. The hard part would be having to leave it there at the plant and wait for it to arrive at the dealer.
Yeah they should bring back the tours, and you right it was very hard leaving it behind. Had to wait 2 more weeks after it was built before it made it to the dealer that is only 20min away from the plant!!
dixoncity, check out my album for the pics i have in there. Not the best (cell phone pics) but better then nothing.
