I've noticed that all of the F-150's that I have bought in my home state of Louisiana have come from the Kansas City Plant. The ones I got while stationed in Georgia came fom the Dearborn Plant.

I don't really know but I believe that certain type trucks are built at a particular plant. Extreme example is the extended cab 8' bed model - I believe that is built in KC only. Not sure on anything else.

I have heard that same thing too that certain models were built at certain plants.

I bought my truck in Thibodaux, LA. Its build sticker says Kansas City. The safety rep at my company bought one exactly like my truck, same color, same XLT model, same everything except mine is a 5.0 and his is the ego boost. His was bought in Kenner, LA and its build sticker is Dearborn. My boss' 2011 F250 FX4 was built in a totally different plant all together. All of our Super Dutys at work were built in the same plant as well.
