Ok monday my check engine light come on so I at advance auto and had them check it. it was the mass air flow sensor that was turning my light on I bought some cleaner but I haven't got to it yet. yesterday my wife decides to drive it and it just quit. I can't get it to even turn over or even click. I put a new battery in it I checked all the fuses and relays. I noticed a sound that sounds like a fuel pump running coming from my tps. if I unplug it and plug it back in I can get a truck to turn over but it won't start. Than after turning the key off I have to repeat the same process to get the truck turn over again. I've been reading previous posts and nothing sounds like the problem I'm having. any thoughts would be appreciated
okay it's alive after a lot of reading I found out that it was the fuel pump driver module. Above my spare tire. looks like snow we got in between the module and the frame and froze breaking it in half. Thank God I wasn't looking forward to spending a arm and a leg at the local ford garage. don't get me wrong I would have if I had no other choice. You gotta love this form thank you ford truck enthusiasts
