Question Scanguage2 Trans temp??

Is it posible to get the trans temp on the scanguage on a 04?

Yea just got to program the X gauge numbers in. Go to there web site and go to the x gauge stuff and its in there, mines 03 and it took it .

My 03 has it, but if I remember correctly I had to add it in the X-Gauge.
Check here: http://www.scangauge.com/support/pdfs/XGAUGE.pdf

Goto page 5 for Ford 6.0L Diesel section and under that FORD CAN section. Use the Trans Temp input there.

Yes I put in the first one and double checked the numbers/letters. Did ya'll put the first or second? I just recieved it this afternoon from cleanmpg.com. So far is everyone happy with theirs??

OK I'm a Dumb A??! LOL Didn't see the one at the bottom of the ford can. Will try tomorrow. Thanks for the quick replies!!

If you don't get any reading after you entered the Xguage info,
you can "edit" the input and change the values to the other.
I also put several other sensors just to see whether they would
show anything (most didn't).

I removed unwanted Xguage entries after a few days
so I didn't have as many sensors to flip through to get back to what
I wanted.

It's trip data is very interesting and worth looking at once in a while.
I also use the "fill-up" feature and it's pretty good at estimating the
amount of full I put in each time (once it's calibrated once or twice).

One of the most used gadgets in a vehicle I've ever owned.
