My 99 Ranger creaks when I drive. I can also make it do it my pushing down on the truck over the driver's side front wheel. I have looked for worn bushings or other problems but haven't seen any.
I have a friend with a 95 who says his does the same. He tried new shocks, but his still creaks.
Is this something to be concerned with, and is there anyway to correct it?

spray the rubber busings one at a time( spray one and drive the truck) with silcone spray...............You will figure out what the issue is...........you have fittings on the stabilzer bar the upper and lower control arms etc...........my guess is the stablizer bar
I have tried several times spraying everything that I could think of; Stabilizer bar through the bushings, Upper and Lower Control arms, where the top and bottom of the spring connects to the truck. The truck still sounds like an old box spring going down the road.
I think that either I am not spraying the right stuff, or I still haven't hit the right spot.
I am using WD40 and some silicon lubricant spray.
Does anyone have any other thoughts or a better lubricant spray that I could try?
The more I look at it, the sounds seems to be coming from the spring area. I can't see the top of the spring, is there any bushing or fitting up there that could cause this squeaking?
I have read other forums where they suggest ball joints or tie rods,I haven't tried those yet but it doesn't sound like it is coming from there.

for what it is worth.......my truck use to squeak going to the road.........it ended up being the chrome trim pieces that were on each wheel( kind of like a hubcap). I took them off and just have the bare wheels with the plastic cover that goes over the hub. no more squeak

don't use WD40. its a **** poor lub on rubber and it destroys rubber. Stick with a silicon spray only.
Even better, every oil change i spray all my bushings front and rear with dirt bike chain lube. it's nice and gooey and lasts a long time and doesn't wash off. I never have squeeking suspension.
