I'm glad none of you can shoot this far, but I have a chevy question lol.
Does any of you have access to what the main bearings torque to on a 85 6.2 diesel cheeeeevy. I don't have a book with me and with my super computer saavy, I haven't been able to find anything so I can put this rig back together. Thanks I know you bunch of guys will refrain from the smarta$$ remarks. lmao
David I"m doing some work on it. The torque converter bolts got loose so I'm putting a new converter, flexplate, so while I'm in that far going with a new rear main. also valve cover gaskets as it looks like they have started leaking a little too.
He is getting it ready to sell. If I had the cash it would be mine though it is a loaded blazer (85) with out even any wear on the cloth seats or door panels and perfect body it is pretty much the same as it was on the showroom floor.
The reason I'm doing the work is I am getting a 4x4 ZF5, a set of 7.3 rockers, the 7.3 gp setup AND an ats turbo setup that his dad had gathered up to upgrade his 85 f250 that he bought new and still has only 71000 miles on it. so that is why I'm working on a 6.2.

Just curious. I don't have much against the 6.2. In another life I could have found myself tinkering with one for a MPG build since they are so much lighter than our V8 diesels.
Not many left in my neck of the woods but the ones that are around seem to run fairly well and can hold their own on the highway.
