The kit in its entirety cost me 55.00 and that included EVERYTHING minus the fitting removed from the old one. I am surprised yours came without the new spring?
Ed Olson owns it. If you don't know the stuff you are looking for email or call him. Great guy, I have spoken to him personally and he knows what you are talking about....even if you don't
Dont know #1 but that black piece is in the housing and is what the gold spring holder goes into, you need to pry it out of the housing with a dental pick or something. Its a bugger to get the new one in all the way too...
75 psi max...but since it is a FORD part it will not
The black piece takes one of the orings and is inserted at the bottom of the housing....mine had it.....if yours does not then not sure about your application. Someone else may have better info.
Thanks guys, mine did not have it. It was all metal and the spring holder went directly in the metal hole.Maybe due to the year of the truck. My truck is a 2006 job2. My fuel pressure is a whoping 70 psi. I am happy about that. I used to be at 45-50.
