Washer Fluid Reservoir
Just purchased 2000xlt. As soon as I got in the truck, I noticed that the low washer warning was on. I checked the fluid and it was over half full. I called the dealer and they sent me in for a checkup. After sitting there for an hour, they told me that there was a technical bulletin issued that the fluid needs to be over 3/4 full to prevent the warning from coming on. Has anyone heard of this and/or experienced this situation? It seems pretty ridiculous to me that at 3/4 full you should refill your washer fluid. Thanks in advance.

The washer fluid light comes on at about 3/4 full. The warning light only stays on for a while then shuts off. The lower the resevior gets the logner the light will stay on. I like the way it is since I live in Colorado and go through alot of washer fluid it keeps me from running out. That happens to me in other vehicles I own.

The same happened here on my 99' EB Expi. I found it strange but the more I talked to people, the more I heard the same like the above posts.
