I need help ID-ing parts

I have a air cleaner housing that I saved from destruction, it very solid so I'm going to blast it up and paint it. I would like to make it complete but I know nothing about them.
What I have so far is the housing w/a metal mounting bar, black plastic intake tube (I think that's what it is) and a white plastic thing that had a flex tube connecting it to the side of the housing.
This stuff came out of a motorless '76 Bronco and was scattered along the ground.
Any help would be great.
Thanks
Pat

The black tube goes in the pass fender to core support for fresh air intake. Accordion style hose connect it the air cleaner which is missing the connecting piece, and valve to switch warm air to cold air, which also has a down tube to connect to exhaust manifold for warm air on cold starts. The white plastic box is a charcoal canister for fuel vapers that mounts on firewall behind pass fender well. How all the hoses connect, I can't help. One about the size of a quarter goes to the breather. If you can make any sense of what I just said.

Thanks, I'm starting to get the picture. So the pieces I have are all connected to the air filter housing in someway or another? Does anyone know where I might look for a diagram of how it all hooks up? Next time I get out there I'll have to bring a rake to see how many pieces are hiding under the leafs.
Thanks alot
Pat

302 prts, prob not 289. Would it not be better to sand rather than 'blast'? A metal detector (the real thing or a magnet) may B worthwhile for the leaves. They just don't find plastic, non-ferrous metal.

I think sanding and then a light sand blast so when I powder coat it all will be good. 302 prts, prob not 289? Would the engine fan help determine what motor? I totally forgot that I have a metal detector, that's a good idea, I'll take it with me today when I go.

Thanks
Pat

Pat's goin land fishin today! Enjoy, good luck!

The reason I p/u ur 1st post wuz cuz a the "ID prts?". Numbers Dummy on here has 30 yrs. job experience w/that. Ask em by PM from our member's list. There's numbers on all parts (how Big Brother finds the terrorists) n he's got the gear to look em up. 'S been very helpful to many of us. Look closely on either the fan or air cleaner. Reason I said no blastin is cuz it often takes off or obscures these identifyin marks. Also dont it "pit" the material?

Thanks, I'll have to pm NumbersDummy. The fan is marked DOTA-F CF, I did'nt get a chance to get out to the yard yesterday because it was to nice of a day so I got caught up with the winter prep of my house. I sandblast parts like these with a fine media and fairly low pressure, so far I have'nt had a problem. Someone is selling a '70 302 housing on e-bay, could I use parts from that on the housing I have?
Thanks
Pat

Not real sure if everything will match up. Your 76 housing has the small plastic "parts" and cold air intake. Smog era. I believe the earlier air cleaner housing had a different shaped snout on it and wasn't made for the cold air intake tube. The 76 had a valve on it that switched from warm air to cold air. Kinda going off memory here, and it ain't what it used to be.

Thanks a ton, that looks like what I need. I did'nt know that you could remove the whole dash like that.
I got another ?, there is another Bronco in the yard that is pretty much trashed except for it has a good dash pad and hood, I have been trying to decipher the vin to determine the year. Here it is, maybe you could help me out.

Built Jan 1971, 302 engine, full cab. Link will give you info on how to decipher rest of the codes on the glovebox plate: http://www.broncohio.com/tech/ebvins.html
