Cam gear removal help, PLEASE!!!

So I have all the parts off and we are trying to get the cam gear off. We have tried every puller we can find, it won't budge. In the area we live, a press is not readily available.

Does anybody have an idea? The salvage yard said they pulled the gear off in the yard while still in the block so I know it can be done. Just how??

Appreciate it.

Didn't someone mention in the other thread about having to heat up the gear to install it? Maybe it goes the same way for removal on some?

We are heating the gear. Still won't move.

Gear is off. YAY, now we get to fab a press to put the new one on.

Should I? It seems to be a very tight fit. We froze the cam shaft and heated the gear and only got it halfways on. Trying to make a press that will help make it fit faster. Transference was our enemy last night.
