That's an awesome truck! I actually like the look of deep wheels and factory hubcaps, that's the first time I've seen something like that.
This weekend I'm thinking about modding my factory AM/FM radio and HVAC controls to have red backlighting. I'm already halfway to converting my radio, I've removed the little blue-green plate behind the radio faceplate, now I just need some red duct tape and I'm done with that. lol.
The HVAC controls will be a bit different, since I'll have to separate the two parts of the faceplate, remove a blue-green plate and replace it with red tape. But ctubutis has done it, so I know it's been done.
LOL... Well we don't have part's swap meets around here... So I just buy extra trucks... The 3 in the middle are the running ones. The 2 outside ones are parts donors that will be going to the scrap yard soon... Either way I feel right at home as soon as I pull in the drive every night...
From Left to right I paid $200, $600, $180, $1, and $240... So for 5 trucks for $1221 isn't bad I don't think!!!!
Looks like I am following in your footsteps then. Never made it to the swap meet because I met this gorgeous gal:
Hey Brad, how come your buddy went with the factory hubcaps and deeper offset steelies instead of something aftermarket?
He wanted to keep a semi stock appearance and keep it looking from the 70s.They were expensive as hell from Stockton wheel. It actually got his second place out of over 250 trucks out at carlisle truck national this years
