I just rebuilt my 300 and got it installed and running last week. I haven't driven it yet but this is what I'm doing. Should give me a nice bit over stock HP.
Removed all the emmisions, not required in my county.
Offenhauser DP intake.
EFI exhaust manifolds, way cheaper than headers.
Edelbrock 500cfm carb.
DUI distributor/ignition from Performance Distributors.
Electric Fan.
In addition, I'd add a cam, or at the least, Chebby rockers. Change the fiber timing gear before you do anything to the valvetrain, tho.
You'll want to change the dizzy from TFI to Duraspark II; no need for expensive distributers (unless you're racing like on a track) DS II has all you need.
