Sun Visor Ideas

My F-3 had one sunvisor that was well worn. I'm curious to see what others have done with their sun visors. Have you removed them and filled the holes completely, purchased new ones from a vendor, made some yourself or scavanged some from a wrecking yard? If they are from a wrecking yard, what year/make worked for you?

Here's a thread about sun visors.

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/8...-opinions.html

I don't remember if it was in this thread or another, one member mentioned cutting up a hood to make a visor, it would have the same body lines so it would match the hood. I'm not a big fan of visors, I think they cause extra drag and pose leakage problems. Just my 2¢

Thanks Bob, guess I should have been more specific. I am looking at the interior sun visors and not the exterior ones.

Are you doing a stock truck? If so the easiest has to be to buy from a vendor. If not I would assume anything that flips you switch will work.

I plan on installing the mirrored, lit visors from my old '90 Eldo into my 56. Haven't got around to doing it yet, but they will go well with the Eldo power seats that are in it.
