So, would anyone be interested in some upfitter switch labels like the one i made below? I'm making 2 for myself (heated mirror and PTO), and was thinking it would be pretty easy to swap out the icons and make all sorts of labels for different devices.
I already have the template done, and i'm just going to print out the labels on some sticker paper thru a laser jet printer (so the ink doesn't run), cut and stick. I'd be happy to make a few more different designs and give them to whoever wants them to print for themselves (as long as i don't get 12,000 responses... i do have a full time job haha). I was thinking of maybe a light bulb, a headlight, a music note... i don't know what everyone has connected to their switches, so those are just some ideas i had.
In this pic, i just printed out my template and set it on the switch to see how it looks... its not attached at all. so the real ones won't be coming up around the edges like this one. My other one is just simply going to be the letters "PTO".
Byram, I just made a template myself after going out with a tape measure and figuring out how big the switches are. They are 5/8" long, and taper from 5/8" wide in the back, to 1/2" wide in the front. The front end is slightly rounded, approx. 1" radius curve. Then I just trimmed that whole thing down by about 1/16" all around. You can use that info to make your own "template", or I could post it here. (in order to get it to print the right size, i might have to make a PDF or something and email it to you). I'll post a blank pic of the template.

That's Cool... I can use those measurements... Thanks -
Here is the blank template I used, for anyone who wants it. It might take some playing around with scaling to get it to print the correct size. See below for the actual size of the switches.
The outline is the actual switch, the black inside is the label I actually cut out.
