i can`t get any vacum from evr got vac. going but it won`t sen d any out replaced evr same thing replaced egr grounded pin 33 releaced vac. opened the egr i have ohmed pin 33 from evr to the computer i have 12 v. on the other side with key on any one know any thing else to try thanks.
The computer pin grounds the wire to the EVR to send vacuum on.
You should have a red wire that has 12 Volts (battery voltage) at all times the key is on.
If you ground the other wire it should send vacuum on to the EGR valve.
Do not ground form more than second at a time or you can burn its coil out or so I am told.
The computer is not a zero ohms to ground as there is some resistance in the transistor that grounds the EVR wire.
Then the EVR is working.
One guy said on here that it will not ground the EVR until you are rolling down the road all so. I do not know how fast you have to be going but I would guess if this is true about 30+ MPH.
If still does not ground it then maybe bad ECT sensor, TPS or computer.
thanks i will try to test the ect tps tests ok i also read if you connect test light between the two wires on evr with key on it should burn mine will not thank you

No this is not true. It will only burn if the computer is grounding the wire to the EVR.

i have done somore checking today checked wires on evr red wire has 12v. with key on other wire has 2.5v. with key on that don`t seem right i thought that was just aground when computer told it to give vac. to egr it seem to get just alittle vac allthe time but won`t get but 2 or 3 lbs. with engine warm and 2200 or 2500 rps i can`t figure it out any help would be appec. thanks
You should have 12 volts on both sides unless the computer is grounding it.
Sounds like the computer is grounding the wire.
Sounds like a bad EVR or bad vacuum lines.
The computer 5 volt supply does not go to the EVR solenoid.
The computer just grounds pin #33.
The 12 volt power to the EVR comes from the power relay.
