i might not have tested the ect correct can some one tell me the proper way to test it i am getting codes 172 and 332 koeo i have new computer new evr and new egr valve thanks.
how much vac. should i get to egr from evr can ground pin 33 an it will jump to 17 or 16 but with motor warmed up and 2000 to 2500 rpms only gets around 4 inches of vac. then it will fall to 0 ihave tryed every thing i know but nothing works keep getting code 332 and 172. 02 sensor lean it gotnew egr valve new evr new map new runs good on interstate 65 or 70 but 35 or 40 just tip accelerater and it jerks and jumps i have checked about every connection i can find any body have any ideas thanks.
Have you verified what the output voltage is from the EVP with no vacuum, 5/10/15 of applied vacuum? Have you traced back the EVP signal back to the PCM?
With info I would say the EVP is sending a signal out, now you have to verify if that signal is getting to the PCM. I would hook up a meter to the EVP signal output, re-run the KOER tests to see if the signal really does change during the test, if it does and you still get DTC 332 then you know the PCM is not seeing the EVP signal.
On the other hand if the EVP signal does not change then you know the EVR is not getting the signal to modulate vacuum to to the EGR valve. You have a bunch of new parts, so it boils down to a wiring problem or an extremely rare bad PCM.
