Factory master code sticker ?
I bought a 2009 ford Escape ,and i am looking for the location of the tag with the door code on it.
It did not come with the code ,they gave me someone else's code with only 4 digits and it does not work.
If anyone has an idea of where to find this tag it would be great !
New to this site and there is a lot of useful information on it .

I wonder if your dealer can look it up by the VIN? Have you looked along the side of the lift gate? In the 90's Ford used to write the code in the underside of the trunk lid. I will look on my Escape and see if I can find it.

The VIN won't show that code. Some have said that it's on the PATS module located under the bottom cover on the steering colume but that;s never been verified.
