They make the chromed steel now for the split grille version?! Excellent, i seen a chromed widemouth at a car show... beautiful. I was a little disapointed when my last two mags didnt have the split grilles in them anymore. I was gunna get a satin finish from another vendor for about 200 and have it chromed, but i like the idea of a steel grille definately.

YES! I've been waiting for the steel ones for the earlier style.... In steel, it should be a substantial thickness, sturdy, and thick enough to weld on for a couple mods I have planned. Although I wish they weren't chromed since it adds to cost, and I'm gonna paint mine.. Lol..
Now, if only we can get Somebody to make metal stock style grill inserts, instead of stooopid plastic!

Before I sent my '78 Bronco to the crusher, I stripped the body clean of everything that was bolted to it. I took the entire front clip that was pristine (even the inner fenders/hood supports), the doors, tailgate, entire interior (dash, guts, seats, rollbar, etc...). I figure if something ever happens to my '78 F150...I'll have plenty of parts for at least one rebuild
