lookin into a set of diy injectors for my 2000 7.3 but a friend of mines want me to just have mine lazor cut he said its cheaper my only problem is how big should i tell them to cut the holes and is this even possiblr. or should i just repace them with the diy injector kit?
It's pointless to make the nozzle holes bigger on a bone stock split shot injector. Your friend obviously doesn't know how these injectors work. They aren't like common-rail injectors.
If you're trying to get more power, there's a lot more work involved than just making the holes in the nozzles bigger.
Unfortunately, Rosewood (the supplier of DIY injector kits) has suspended sales of their kits for the rest of the year. At least that's what their website states.
