Hmmm..... 39* here at Lake Bistineau this AM, good morning for snuggling around a campfire Supposed to be a beautiful weekend for camping, I know I'm gonna enjoy it
Note to self, next time when the weather guessers are saying it's going to be in the low 30's/upper 20's...make sure you grab your jacket before you leave for work. Thank goodness I carry a spare in the truck...though it isn't as warm.

The pavement princess was showing 32 when I left the depot at 0745. BTW, where is Lake Bistineau?

Beautiful...are you kidding? Down right gorgeous if the weather guessers got it right. Thought real hard about burning a couple of personal days and take a long weekend. Had I been born rich...instead of just good looking I would have.
It was 35 here this morning with a little bit of frost. The boys and I are going to the Arkansas Trappers Association workshop this weekend. We'll be camping tonight and tomorrow night. I think it is gonna be fun!
Looks like we'll all be camping this weekend. Lynn and I are off to Hardy and Spring River Valley camp.
Gonna get one more trip on the Scotty before the cold sets in.
Stepped out on the porch with my coffee about the time the sun came up. Saw what a beautiful day it was gonna be, and decided to take the bike for a ride.
We headed to Kingston, NW of Jasper. There's an antique store there we like to browse from time to time. Lynn picked up a piece to make a wind chime out of.
Had lunch at the local cafe. Never had a patty melt without onions on it before.
Got to see swans and elk and some pretty country.
