Where did everyone go?

 

We're all still here, some of us are just recovering from our "Friday". Anyone want to do laundry for me today so I can go "play"?

Hard to believe I've put 5k miles on the truck in just under 8 weeks. I think it's safe to say I'm keeping the veins on the Pavement Princess active.

 

I think it takes me a year to see that mileage!

 

The great part is most of that mileage will get written off on my taxes since I use the truck for work.

 

my long .2 mile commute is a killer!

 

Yeah, that would be hell on a 6.0L; which ironically seem to love long trips. Mine seems to get better fuel mileage the longer the trip. Part of the reason I refuse to swap rides with my wife...no matter how many times she's suggested it.

 

I have a running joke with my mechanic friend, the tires and exhaust will rot before the tread wears off the tires!

 

In Jersey...I have no doubt about that. Winter weather & "road treatment" will kill 'em both.

 

My town loves salt, we are one of the only towns around that will be completely blacktop road surfaces when other towns still have a snow pack on them.

41F out here at the Fort this morning...ha yes, fall is here.

 

Morning Zack, finally back to normal fall temps here too!

 

We have a frost/freeze warning for tomorrow morning. I think Ft. Smith is supposed to see 30F...I'm sure the hollers away from town will be cooler. I'm sure SW Missouri will be just as cool.
