is this common?
i was changing my oil and i noticed oil all over my oil pan i looked up and saw i was missing 2 bolts and 1 was broken off the motor runs fine and it isnt leaking that bad how bad is it to keep running it like that till i get the 2 other bolts to replace the missing ones and as for the broken one is there anything i can do to get it out with out pulling the motor?

I assume you mean oil pan bolts. As long as you keep the oil level okay it's not going to damage your engine. It will smoke and PO others drivers but not a big deal lol. On rare occasions it can start a fire from oil on the exhaust, but that is really rare. Depending on where the bolt is use an easy out. If it's not leaking badly then you may get away with replacing the bolts, but I doubt it. If you can get a drill to the broken bolt then an easy out is the way to go.

ok thanks i was rele worried because its my dd and im millitary so i cant exactly call in and say i cant make it but thanks alot ill give it a try it sucks cuz im gunna rebuild the motor this winter and it figures something would break now.
