How do you remove the brake line at the caliper? My caliper has some type of rubber bushing where the line and the caliper meet and i havent tinkered with it just yet, but i want to know what im going to see and how to get them apart.
The brake line is held to the caliper by a hollow bolt, there are two copper washers that seal the connection.
Here is an illustration from the Ford parts catalog. Look at the illustration for basic p/n 2078. This is the hose connection. Basic p/n 2149 are the copper washers and p/n 385116-s is the bolt that holds everything together.
