changing fuel return hoses

Bought the kit from pennsacola and the viton orings, thanks to guys form this site for the advice and sources. I am ready to do this job. But...how do I get the supply lines off the injectors? I dont want to bend the steel lines... Will they flex enough if I take off the support brackets that "hold" them together?
Wanted to ask before I start in on this job. jery

Yes, carefully bend them aside, be sure to put the line clamps back on if you take them off.

If you take the 4 clamps off it does make it easier and you don't need to "bend" any of the lines, just flex them a little.

Try to flex them in such a way that they are coming straight off the injector, then they will go straight back onto the injector. Sometimes a little sandpaper around the line before taking the nut off helps with it too, takes the paint etc off and lets the nut spin easier to take it on and off.

Did one side of the return hoses... the old orings and hose were sure stiff. Only able to get one clamp back on correctly, and only 2 out of 3 lines. The other clamp was in no way going back on. The previous owner had bent the lines where they would not fit in the rubber. The lines were hitting metal to metal, not being isolated from each other. I have got to come up with a better way to secure them. Cranked right up, no problem, no external leaks. Lots of cussing though, oops. Jery

Do the other side so you don't chase your tail ...

Those clamps are CRITICAL!!!
Straighten the lines to fit or replace them else they'll crack on you.
They cannot touch anything that is not firmly affixed to them, they vibrate a lot.

-Enjoy
