72 F100... needing some advice
Recently bought a 1972 F100 390 4speed std Custom Sport
I'm wanting to make it auto, and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on what kind/type of tranny to use.
Any other suggestions are more than welcome.

Amy, as posted the C6 is about the only choice that you have without spending big bucks on adapters. I did it to my truck.
Many of us purchase 73-76 donor trucks and get the C6, power disc brakes, & power steering all at the same time. Gets your truck a major upgrade all at once.
