Been having problems with drivers side front & rear doors, as well as the rear window lock. They unlock just fine, but won't lock.
I did the tin-foil trick on all three and it didn't improve any of the three actuators. I took a voltage reading at the drivers door and it was virtually nothing on the lock and a good 12v on unlock.
Could a bad actuator be causing this or is it the VSM, or a bad ground? It just started out of the blue.
Most likely it is a bad relay. There are actually three relays. All lock, all unlock, and driver unlock relays. So I expect your, all unlock relay, is bad. Most likely the extra current caused by shorting out the resistors in the door lock modules has caused the relay to fail. I don't know where the relay is. All I can tell you is follow the clicking noise.
I found my ground wire worked it's way loose. It is on the drivers side behind the panel in the cargo area. It's closer to the second row shoulder harness.
