Started on some progress

While this isnt my official build thread, I thought I would share some of my progress for my 66

So a little info on these heads below, are as follows.....fully stage 3 ported Ford GT heads by me, new valves, springs etc. And they will be topped off with custom grind turbo cams. HEADS ARE FOR SALE!

I'll be watching what you do next. Have you done any mock ups with the transmission yet? I'm a little curious where the shifter will hit the floor.

Nah I havent done anything like that yet.....However I have done a 351 with a T-5 in a 67 f100 2wd and the shifter came out just about 6 inches in front of the seat. But I will keep you posted!

it doesn't hurt to remove that part of the valve guide?

I don't know anything about that, I just think it looks cool in the pic!

The valve guides are ok as I will be replacing them when I get closer to rebuilding the heads. I still have about a 100 hours of finishing up the porting and polishing.
