Ford Interior Paint Questions
Hello to everyone, first post here for me. I have a 1971 F250 with the exterior paint code of 6M ( Bahama Blue/Wimbledon White) top/blue, middle/white, and bottom/blue. My interior trim code is 2 4. My interior has blue door inserts, steering column, armrests, and seat. This blue is not Bahama blue, It is a darker metal flake blue. I am leaning toward med/blue/poly as correct, but do not know if this or not. My steering wheel is Black, is this correct? Any comments or help would be greatly appreciated.

That sounds like a nice color combination. I dont know enough about these trucks to know what is correct, but wonder if the interior, and the exterior might be the same, only the exterior is faded. Or, maybe the interior is factory, and the exterior has been repainted.

I was thinking that way too, except the interior paint is metallic and the exterior color chip charts do not mention a Bahama Blue Met. After 35 years
in New Mexico the exterior paint is faded badly though! As for the steering wheel, the one I have is not the original. Picture I have seen always show the column and wheel matching.
