Just curious, how did the conversion work out for you?
It's impossible to tell by the drawing on their website what type bearings they use, are they adjustable tapered roller bearings?
.
I installed the spyntech bearing in Oct 2010 and haven't had any problems. Install was a breeze except one tapered seal. I wasn't sure which way to install it. I called the help number on sunday evening and got one of the guys. Sounded like he was at home. Thats good support.
I didn't study the bearing closely because they looked like anything i can get a napa. Just like my 79 bronc wheel bearings. I guess they are roller bearings. I don't know what adjustables bearings look like. I have a bearing shop in town i use anyways. so i know i couldn't go wrong.
I was goin on my 3rd set of factory hubs so this price of the spyne tech equaled those. I planed on keeping the truck too. I'm going to open them up and regrease / inspect them to see how there holding up. Love them so far.
I took pictures of it all I'll try to post them soon. this is something i am not good at. Pm your email and i can send pics to you.
