Catalytic Converter O2 sensor
I have a 1997 6.8l v10 in a E Superduty . My engine light came on and after scanning the only error code I read was P1131 , which tells me a number of things one of which is a bad O2 sensor , Bank 1 , ( between the cat and the muffler . However ,Ford tells me there are 4 O2 sensors on this engine . I have been all over that system and can find only 2 ( bank 1 and Bank 2 both immediately after the manifold )
Am I missing something other than 2 O2's ?

This is a V10 that was exempt from many smog regulations. Its not set up the same way that the smaller vehicles and engines are. You should have 2 upstream sensors, and may or may not have a downstream sensor based upon emissions and GVWR.
