alternator pulley dimensions

dont have access to my truck and a buddy needs the diameter, width, and bore size of the alt pulley. and if i remember right it is an 8 groove, correct?

Depends on the year for the groves budd.
Mine has 7.
and I think the 97's have a different number as well.

Its a mess for sure.

lol of course. its a 96 F350. no ambulance package

it is 8 groove, i had him count

just curious... what grooves are supposed to be counted? the grooves on the pulley or belt?

Either way. You can count the ribs on the belt or the grooves in the pulley. Doesn't matter.
